If you are after a special place with the right ambience and service, then the United Service Club is for you.
Our Club was formed as an officers club for the Queensland Defence Force and has evolved to become one of Brisbane's premium private member' clubs, welcoming both military and civilian members. We remain very much a social club, somewhere to enjoy the company of like-minded people. Our dining and bars, private and corporate functions as well as Club events are just some of the ways our members enjoy and share in our Club life and community.

The club hosts a large variety of exclusive social events for members and guests daily. From business breakfasts, to speaker luncheons and formal dinners you are sure to find a members function to suit you.
Members Bar
Our Members' Bar and adjoining Military Bar provide a warm and inviting atmosphere where members and their guests may enjoy a relaxing drink or light meal. The perfect spot to catch up with friends and colleagues.
Club Dining
We've dining options to suit your mood and need, from a casual lunch on our front verandah to formal à la carte dining in one of our elegant function rooms. Whatever the occasion, be assured of the most memorable experience.
Reciprocal Clubs
As a United Service Club member you also have access to over 130 clubs worldwide - including Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, Australian Capital Territory, South Australia, Western Australia and Tasmania - as well as across the globe.
Cellar
Our recently refurbished Cellar is a sophisticated and intimate space for private functions or simply to view our broad selection of wine, liqueurs and spirits, including some of Scotland's finest single malts. Members also have access to our mature stock.
Co-Working Space
We have a dedicated space on Level 4 which our members can utilise should they need to work away from home for a couple of hours during the day. This room is accessible only during Club opening hours.
Billiard Room
On Level 4, members and guests can get together for a friendly match on a full-size billiard table in our Bill Brown Room. With members' recent rejuvenated interest in this sport, the room now boasts the comfort of air conditioning too.
Reading Room
Here you'll find a sanctuary of peace and quiet, with comfortable armchairs surrounded by an extensive and eclectic library, artworks and memorabilia. Retreat to our Reading Room to read, enjoy a game of chess or catch up on emails.
Accommodation
We provide a range of accommodation for our members and their guests, as well as reciprocal club members. All rooms feature ensuites, with one of our superior rooms designed to meet the needs of guests with limited mobility.
Weddings
We invite you to experience the elegance and romance of our Club - perfect for your special day. Our heritage-listed buildings, second to none service and fine food and wine will ensure your wedding is a day to remember.
Events
Our various spaces around our club are available for private function hire. If you are interested in holding a birthday, private business luncheon or conference please get in touch.
Parking
Our private car park, located at the rear of the Club, is attended Monday to Friday, with security camera monitoring 24/7. Members park free when utilising the Club's food & beverage services, or when staying overnight in Club accommodation. As the Club is often busy, we are unable to pre-book spaces for members and their guests, and we thank you for your understanding.
